Moondust Productions Editorial Intern

January 2026 - Present

Moondust Productions brings imagination and creativity to everyone by providing innovative entertainment with better values.

As a member of the editorial team, I evaluate manuscripts according to both house standards and industry trends. I address and communicate editorial feedback in terms of narrative, plot, characters, and world building. Authors receive constructive developmental, structural, line/copy, proof, and fact-check editing.

Most importantly, we foster supportive and collaborative relationships with our writers so that their stories are the best they can be!

Certificate of Completion:

Polyphony Lit Senior Editor

April 2021 - June 2023

Polyphony Lit presented me an opportunity in my late high school years to develop skills in literary editing and learn about the ever-important editor/writer relationship. In order to be a volunteer editor, I completed an online workshop called "How to Become a Literary Editor" (see certificate below).

I began as a Junior Editor and was quickly promoted to a Senior Editor. Some of my responsibilities included distributing editorial feedback on submissions of poetry, fiction, and non-fiction, administering constructive feedback to junior editors, and monitoring submission completion and editorial team activity. I also advised team members regarding deadlines and group expectations/guidelines.

Overall, I took great care in fostering strong writer-editor relationships within the staff, as illustrated by the magazine’s values and vision in writing.
